Tripura sits in Northeast India, and Srinagar's airport (SXR) is reachable from Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport, Agartala (IXA) in about 9-12h (via Kolkata/Guwahati + Delhi), usually with one connection. IndiGo, Air India, Alliance Air operate this route regularly, and there is no practical road/rail alternative for most of this distance, so flying is the route almost everyone takes.

Tripura doesn't have a practical direct rail link all the way into the valley, so flying to Srinagar (or driving/training to Jammu and continuing by road) covers the vast majority of Tripura bookings we handle.
