The Tarsar Marsar trek is, for many, the most beautiful trek in Kashmir - a loop from the Aru valley near Pahalgam to two exquisite, almond-shaped alpine lakes set beneath rock walls and snow. The trail rolls through some of the greenest meadows in the Himalaya, crosses gentle passes, and camps beside rivers and lakes. It is a moderate trek, achievable by fit first-time trekkers with a good operator.

Via Kashmir arranges the full guided Tarsar Marsar trek - a certified guide, camps, meals, porters or ponies, and permits - over six to seven days. This page covers the itinerary, difficulty, season, cost, and what is included.
