Kashmir Ladakh Tour Package
Two of India's most striking landscapes, one connected route - Kashmir's lakes and meadows, then the high-altitude drama of Ladakh, planned end to end.
Starting From
₹32,999/person
The road from Srinagar to Leh is one of the great overland journeys in India - out of the green Kashmir valley, over the Zoji La pass, through the stark high-altitude desert of Drass and Kargil, and down into Leh's Indus valley. Doing Kashmir and Ladakh as one trip, rather than two separate holidays, makes sense if you have 10-12 days and want the full contrast in one journey.
Via Kashmir is a Kashmir-based travel company first - our verified hotel and cab network across Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalgam is deep and instantly bookable. For the Ladakh half of a combined trip, we plan the route, permits and connections working with trusted local partners in Leh, since our own on-ground Ladakh inventory is still growing. Every Kashmir-Ladakh combo enquiry gets a real itinerary and a fixed quote from our team - not a generic template.

A representative combined itinerary
This route can be shortened, reversed, or split so you fly into one city and out of the other (Srinagar in, Leh out is the most popular direction, avoiding a repeat of the same road).
What to know before combining the two
- Altitude - Leh sits at over 3,500m; build in at least one full acclimatisation day before Pangong/Nubra, both above 4,000m.
- Inner Line Permits - Pangong, Nubra and several other areas require a permit, which we arrange for you in Leh.
- The Zoji La / Kargil road is seasonal - typically open late May/June through October-November, closed by snow in winter, so a road-route Kashmir-Ladakh combo is a summer-to-autumn trip.
- A fly-in/fly-out Ladakh leg is possible year-round if you want to add Ladakh outside the road-open season.
Indicative pricing
10-12 days, per person on twin sharing (varies by route and season)
Frequently Asked Questions
Can Via Kashmir book my entire Kashmir and Ladakh trip?
Yes - we plan the complete route and itinerary and quote it as one trip. Our own verified hotel/cab inventory is strongest in Kashmir (Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonamarg); for the Leh side, we coordinate with established local partners and give you one fixed combined price and one point of contact throughout.
How many days do I need for Kashmir and Ladakh together?
A realistic combined trip needs 10-12 days minimum to cover both properly without rushing the altitude adjustment in Ladakh. Shorter combos are possible if you fly Srinagar-Leh instead of driving.
When is the Srinagar-Leh road open?
Typically late May/June through October-November, weather-dependent. Outside that window, Ladakh is reachable only by flight.
Is altitude sickness a real concern?
Yes, and we build the itinerary around it - a full rest day in Leh before going higher to Pangong or Nubra is standard, non-negotiable advice, not just a suggestion.
What permits do I need?
An Inner Line Permit is required for Pangong Tso, Nubra Valley and a few other areas. We handle the paperwork as part of the Ladakh leg of your booking.
