Kashmir Honeymoon Bliss - 7 Days 6 Nights

1. Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar & Welcome to Your Houseboat. Your driver meets you at Srinagar airport or railway station and brings you straight to Floating Heaven Heritage Houseboats (or similar) on Dal Lake, where your room is decorated with flowers and a honeymoon cake is waiting. At sunset the two of you glide out on a private shikara for an hour, then return to a candlelit dinner for two on the houseboat deck. All of it is included, so the first evening of your honeymoon needs no planning at all.
2. Day 2: Srinagar City & Mughal Gardens. After breakfast on the lake, spend an unhurried day in Srinagar: the terraced Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar with their fountains and chinar trees, the white marble Hazratbal Shrine on the shore of Dal Lake, and the lanes of Lal Chowk if you want to shop for pashmina and papier-mache. Your private cab waits wherever you stop. End with a sunset walk along the Boulevard before checking into German Residency (or similar) for the night.
3. Day 3: Drive to Gulmarg - Meadow of Flowers. A scenic drive of about 2.5 hours in your private cab climbs through Tangmarg to Gulmarg, the meadow of flowers at 2,650 metres. The afternoon is yours to settle into The Gulmarg Gateway Resort (or similar) and simply slow down. As the light fades, walk out together across the pine-ringed meadow and watch the sun set behind the peaks, with dinner waiting back at the resort.
4. Day 4: Gulmarg Gondola & Alpine Views. Today is Gulmarg at its highest. Ride the Gondola through Phase 1 to Kongdori and on through Phase 2 to Apharwat Peak at nearly 4,000 metres, where snow often lingers well beyond winter. Back on the meadow, take an optional horse ride together through the pine forest, or walk out to Khilanmarg for views of Nanga Parbat on a clear day. Gondola tickets and the horse ride are paid locally: about ₹800 per person for Phase 1 and ₹1,000 for Phase 2.
5. Day 5: Drive to Pahalgam - Valley of Shepherds. After breakfast your private cab takes you back via Srinagar and south to Pahalgam, with a stop at the ninth-century temple ruins at Avantipora on the way. It is a long but beautiful travel day of about five hours on the road, broken up so it never feels rushed. You check into The Pinus Resort Pahalgam (or similar) on the banks of the Lidder River and spend a slow evening by the water.
6. Day 6: Betaab Valley & Aru Valley. A full day in the valleys around Pahalgam. Drive out to Betaab Valley, its green meadow framed by pine forest and the Lidder River, then continue to Aru Valley, a quiet meadow village that trekkers use as their base. Your package includes a pony ride for two: Baisaran meadow has been closed to visitors since April 2025, so our Srinagar team checks what is open before you travel and plans the ride around it.
7. Day 7: Departure from Srinagar. After a last breakfast by the river, your driver takes you back to Srinagar, about three hours away, and drops you at the airport or railway station in good time for your onward journey. Parking, tolls and driver allowance are already covered, so the only thing left to do is take the memories home.
