Quick Answer: A Kashmir group tour package for 10 to 20 people uses one Tempo Traveller (or two cars), rooms on triple or twin sharing and one coordinator for the whole group. Our 3N4D group getaway starts at ₹15,000 per person, 4N5D at ₹18,500 and 5N6D at ₹20,500 from Srinagar.

Big groups are a different trip from a couple's holiday. Cousins, college friends, a residents' association or two families together need the same hotel on the same nights, a vehicle that keeps everyone together and one person who answers the phone. This guide explains how we plan a Kashmir group tour package for 10 to 20 people, what it costs per person and where groups save or overspend.
How a Kashmir group tour package works
- ✓One itinerary for everyone, with the same hotel each night so the group is never split across properties.
- ✓One vehicle plan: a Tempo Traveller for 9 to 17 people, or two Innovas if the group prefers smaller cars. Above 17, two vehicles.
- ✓Rooms on twin or triple sharing (an extra bed in a double room). Triple sharing lowers the per-person cost.
- ✓One Srinagar coordinator on WhatsApp for the whole trip, and one itemised quote with every hotel named.
See Tempo Traveller in Kashmir for the vehicles and Innova cabs for smaller cars.
Kashmir group tour package prices
| Package | Route | From (per person) |
|---|---|---|
| Kashmir Group Getaway 3N4D | 2 nights Srinagar, 1 night Pahalgam | ₹15,000 |
| 4 nights, 5 days | Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalgam | ₹18,500 |
| 5 nights, 6 days | Adds Sonamarg or a slower pace | ₹20,500 |
Prices are live from Srinagar on twin sharing with hotels, transport, sightseeing and on most packages breakfast and dinner. Children under 12 pay a child rate. In a big group, the cost of the vehicle is shared by more people, so it is worth asking for a group quote rather than multiplying a couple's price. Compare packages for 6 persons and family packages.

Where groups stay
Groups do best in mid-size hotels that can give 5 to 10 rooms on one floor, and in houseboats with several bedrooms. Many houseboats on Dal and Nigeen have 3 to 5 bedrooms, so a group of 10 can take a whole boat and have the deck and sitting room to themselves. In Gulmarg and Pahalgam, book early: few hotels can hold 8 or more rooms together in peak weeks. See houseboats and Srinagar hotels.
A sample 5-day group plan
| Day | Plan |
|---|---|
| 1 | Arrive Srinagar, group pickup at the airport, evening shikara ride on Dal Lake |
| 2 | Day trip to Gulmarg; gondola tickets booked for the whole group in advance |
| 3 | Drive to Pahalgam; Betaab and Aru valleys by local union taxi |
| 4 | Back to Srinagar via Awantipora; Mughal gardens and the old city |
| 5 | Shopping for dry fruit and shawls, airport drop |
Tips that save a group money and time
- ✓Fix the headcount early. Hotels hold a block of rooms, and adding rooms later in peak season is hard.
- ✓Book the Gulmarg gondola for the group as soon as dates are fixed; group tickets sell out on busy days.
- ✓In Pahalgam, Betaab, Aru and Chandanwari are reached by the local union taxi, paid on the spot and shared by 4 to 6 people per car.
- ✓Keep one person as the group's contact for payments and changes.

What is included, and what the group pays on the spot
The package covers hotels or houseboats, the group vehicle with driver, fuel, tolls and parking, airport pickup and drop, sightseeing by the vehicle and on most packages breakfast and dinner. Paid on the spot: the Gulmarg gondola, the Pahalgam union taxi, ponies, shikara rides beyond the one included and entry tickets to the gardens. We list each of these with today's rates in the quote, so the group knows the full cost per head before anyone pays.
Frequently asked questions
What is the cost of a Kashmir group tour package?
From ₹15,000 per person for 3N4D, ₹18,500 for 4N5D and ₹20,500 for 5N6D, live today. Triple sharing lowers the per-person cost.
Which vehicle is best for a group of 12 in Kashmir?
A 12 to 17-seater Tempo Traveller keeps the group together; two Innovas are an option if you prefer smaller cars.
